Customer requested and industry inspired. Rail Scale was established in 1999 perfecting a railroad scale test process free of rail bound test cars. Rail Scale serves customers from bases in 10 states (Utah, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Alabama and Florida).

Safe, efficient and accurate; your railroad scales are certified in accordance with the United States Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards  and Technology (NIST) Handbook 44 and the Association of American Railroad’s Railroad Scale Handbook.

All Rail Scale personnel are background checked and drug tested. They are experienced; professionally and safety trained; insured; certified; registered and licensed.  With one of the most rigorous screening processes in the industry, safety and security are never a concern with Rail Scale’s technicians on your property.
